We are told in the Scriptures to Seek "The Kingdom Of God" first and "All Other Things Shall Be Added On." Are you a Kingdom person, or a Religious person?
"But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". (Matthew 6:33).
Jesus said it, All you have to do is Seek it! (Study St Matthew 6). If you want a personal relationship with Jesus, open yourself, your heart, your mind, your confidence, and let The Kingdom of God be in you.
For many years years I had always mentally believed in Jesus, but I did not have a Personal Relationship with Him and His Kingdom! I was Religious, until 1960 when I heard the Good News! I have never been the same since, thanks to The Cross, the Blood of Jesus and the Kingdom of God (Heaven). To know Jesus is to have a New life!
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17).
As the well known Hymn says, "There is Power, Power, wonder working Power, in the precious Blood Of The Lamb!" When I First found The Lord and His Kingdom, I had a strong spiritual desire to tell all the religious denominations and clergy, and all my neighbours, family, and friends! Jesus said, "...Go Ye into all the world,and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils [demons]; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:15-18).
Being Born Again, Saved By Grace, is the greatest thing that can happen to anyone in their life! Jesus said, "The Thief [the devil] cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have more abundantly." (St John 10:10). Abundant life, through the stripes and Blood of Jesus. The Complete Atonement for sickness and sin! Not an outward religion, but a real living Spirit and Man, God's Son! Jesus Christ! You might be a business person or an engineer etc. But, do you have a personal relationship with Jesus and His Kingdom? Remember, after Jesus was whipped and crucified, he was buried and rose again the third day! And now forever lives to make intercession for us!
